Two-fold sofa bed mechanism with a quick opening system. The Otello H20 Straps model allows the use of mattresses with a height of 20/21 cm and a length of 195 cm for a bed with maximum comfort. The straps make the sofa seating comfortable. The 30 mm tubular structure and high-resistance linkages ensure solidity and reliability. 1. TUBES. The mechanism is made of round, square, and rectangular profiled tubes in DC01 steel, welded and calibrated, produced according to EN 10305-3 standard, for furniture use, in various sections 20x20, 20x10, from Ø16 to Ø30 and thicknesses from 1.2 to 1.35 mm.

1. SPRINGS. The springs used are extension springs of various sizes, made of silicon spring steel with high carbon content and high yield strength. Finish: white galvanized or black burnished. Standard UNI EN ISO 13906.

1. ELECTRO-WELDED BED BASE. The sleeping surface ensures continuity between the three different panels that compose it. The panels, made of electro-welded mesh, are supported by seven steel tubes Ø25, Ø30. The electro-welded mesh panels are made with Ø3.8 mm steel wire, projection welded electrically with horizontal and vertical spacing of approximately 70 mm.

1. STRAP SEATING. The sofa seat corresponds to the end section of the bed base and is made with elastic straps. These have variable length, 50 mm width, made of 55% polypropylene fibers and 45% natural rubber. Softer and more comfortable seating.

1. PAINTING. The finish is Metallic Gunmetal color, made with thermosetting powder based on epoxy and polyester resins. Oven-cured at 280°, it has a glossy decorative effect and mechanical resistance to scratches and abrasion. The mechanism has obtained the SALT SPRAY RESISTANCE TEST certification ISO 9227:2017. The coating is intended for indoor use.
